There was a birth of a YouTube Channel recently!
That new YouTube Channel is called The Culture of The High Country and is operated by Alton Medlin as the interviewer and Jason DeWitt, as the videographer. The Channel is filled with Ride Abouts that include outrageous country banter between two fossilized old local men as well as including some killer interviews with some very interesting and important people.

We feel that we have cracked the "AI Curtain". Your participation with checking us out and leaving comments
The format of our videos is:
- An introduction establishing we are on another Ride About, the banter being southerly humorous.
- The interview lasting from five minutes to thirty minutes.
- The post interview sum-up and more southern banter.
We have plenty of possibilities for future interviews because we know lots of people from the High Country of western North Carolina, and we know them very well.
HOWEVER: We are actively seeking ideas for future videos. If you know someone who is:
- Ether old enough to be a good historian of their local events
- Or is someone who has or has had a very cool job.
- >Sometimes there are positions held in life where most people assumed there must be someone holding such a position, but noone knows who that person is; this is where we come into play. We strive to interview such unique people
